Coconut + Date Hemp Protein Balls
No added sugar, no dairy and no gluten; but big on taste, energy and protein. Try this easy recipe for coconut and date hemp protein balls - no cooking involved and a nutritious snack for those on the go!
Ingredients
- 10 Medjool dates - remove the pits
- 2 cups dessicated coconut (plus extra for coating)
- 1 cup Byron Bay Labs Nourish hemp protein powder
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp honey
Method
- Blend all ingredients together in a food processor until mixed well (2 - 3 minutes).
- Form firm balls from the mixture.
- Roll in dessicated coconut.
- That's it - you're done.
Notes
These coconut and date hemp protein balls can be served at room temperature or after being refrigerated - either way, they are extremely yummy and very satisfying!
Tip: for a richer, more moist result, add an extra 1/4 cup of coconut milk.
