Inside our blends
WHY WE LOVE HEMP
Hemp seed is a "super-food" truly worthy of the title. One of the world’s most complete sources of protein, hemp seed also contains high levels of essential fatty acids (omega 3, 6 and 9), linoleic acid as well as essential vitamins and minerals.
Hemp seed, which has a pleasant nutty taste, can be a key source of protein for vegans and vegetarians, and is a great alternative for those who are lactose intolerant.
But not all seed is equal - Byron Bay Labs' blends have the highest levels of protein and essential fatty acids we've seen available in Australia - 25%+ more plant based protein and 30%+ more Omega 3-6-9.
